Where Are Lamborghinis Made?

Lamborghinis are the lesser known, but just as spectacular, Italian high performance sports cars. So, where are Lamborghinis actually made?

The story of Lamborghini is rather humorous. The company was started by Ferruccio Lamborghini. Ferruccio was actually an Italian industrialist who was best known not for making sports cars, but for making tractors. He was very successful and purchased a Ferrari that had issues. He then got into an argument with none other than Enzo Ferrari. It became so heated that he decided to start his own sports car company.

Starting a car company is obviously an expensive endeavor. To keep his cost low, Ferruccio converted one of his tractor factories into the plant for the cars that would bear his famous name. The factory was located in the small Italian village of Sant'Agata Bolognese outside of the City of Bologna. The company has gone through many owners since that time [It was even owned by Chrysler for a bit], but the factory location has never changed.

Where are Lamborghinis made? The small village of Sant’Agata Bolognese in Italy.
