First Infiniti M35 Hybrid Set for Production

Infiniti has long made great cars, but the brand has often been a bit slow on the uptake. For example, Infiniti has finally announced the M35 will be its first hybrid set for production.

What's the hottest car in the market these days? Clearly, the hybrid is the only segment that is showing steady business these days. The combined benefits of reduced emissions and improved gas mileage make it a win-win in the minds of many people, particularly in these days when every dollar counts for must households.

Infiniti has been known for building interesting and unique vehicles. For some reason, however, the brand is always a bit slow on the uptake when it comes to new trends. The fact practically every other brand has some type of hybrid on the market or about to be released is a perfect example. Infiniti has nothing on the market. Even more so, the brand apparently only now seems to realize it needs one.

The announcement has finally been made. The company will launch the M35 hybrid in 2011. Never heard of the M35? This is because the car is brand new. Yes, the base model is brand new to the market, which means the hybrid version is most likely just a gleam in someone's mind!

Knowing Infiniti, the M35 hybrid will probably be a solid winner and competent car. That being said, it is difficult to understand why Infiniti fans must wait until 2011 to get the first hybrid launched by the brand in a market when hybrids first started getting hot in 2007.
